What I think is, politicians and/or anyone else shouldn't be able to tell me what I can/can't take for chronic pain. Legally.
I was doing quite well on the (then) legal meds I was taking until the pols over reacted and started a whole new industry in "pain management". What f'n joke.
Have a glass of wine with dinner? Uh-uh. Alcohol stays in your system for 10 days. Pot? Nope got to pay some hack a bunch of bucks to get a "pot card". Don't have one? Then when you get drug tested at the "pain management" clinics then you're out.
I told them to f off, and thanks but no thanks.
Told the VA the same thing years ago. They can all kiss my old ass.
Far too many politicians think they are doctors or engineers, when they are usually disbarred lawyers.

It's a "doggie" blanket on the bed for my two little ones. I think they are bears?

Hey Boonie, the weather forecast is 3" to 5" of snow for the Florida panhandle. 😲 I hope you are not affected. That area does not know how to handle snow.

Yikes, it looks like you might get icing, which is even worse than snow.

I’m guessing that it’s still better than a hurricane.

“Hunting UFOs: The Crash Retrieval Whistleblower” on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. ET.

OK, so I watched this yesterday and it has some really weird crap in it IMO. Not sure what to think, usually I buy into some of this UAP stuff after my own encounter, but this is just waaaay out there!

I'm in the red-pink-fuchsia area. lol. As the crow flies I'm roughly halfway between Tallahassee and Gainesville.
Ice I'm guessing.
You would know since I have to travel 35 miles Wednesday morning to meet with the surgeon. If we make it and he doesn't I'll be in a less than charitable mood.

Snow is falling from southeast Texas through Louisiana and into parts of Mississippi and Alabama Tuesday and creating treacherous conditions. An area stretching from Houston into southern Louisiana has already recorded widespread 3 to 6 inches of snow, with at least one locale hitting the double-digit mark, and more is on the way. A record amount of snow is forecast for New Orleans and other cities along the Gulf Coast.

Hope ya got the electrical & digital lines buried. And propane tank filled. Don't forget the Amsterdam Gin.

It's been snowing in the Florida panhandle. Will it make it to me? We'll see.
They put off my surgeon appt. until 1400 Hrs, thankfully. Maybe the roads will be better by then, as I have to travel about 35 miles.
Not the roads that scare me, it's Florida drivers. They already drive like maniacs around here. There's a retirement village about 4 miles from me. Nothing like driving the speed limit and some little old lady that has to look through the steering wheel passing you like you're sitting still. lol.
Dadgum old people! Wait....

Everything is above ground here but phone lines...which I don't use since fiber. But we have a small electric co-op that buys electricity from a power facility a bit north of Jacksonville. Anything that happens between here and there or line problems here and you better have a generator.

It's snowing outside! Yippee!!!!!! :SB
(I haven't seen snow actually pile up round here in years...my condolences to those who get to much.)

I think that ain't exclusive to Florida, chief. The other day I got overtaken by a bunch of cars going 60...in a 35 MPH zone...
