I just saw it at a criminally small screen at Rheged near Penrith. Wish they'd shown it on their bigger screen, and cranked the sound up! Really enjoyed the film, it ends too soon though.

well, the movie IS called "BECOMING Led Zeppelin". So I think it ends in just about the right place -- with them finding huge success in the UK. And it ends on a happy note. We don't get Plant losing his voice, losing his child, Page becoming a drug addict, Bonham dying, etc. I left with a big smile on my face. And leaving the audience wanting more is always a good thing, eh?

I went to the iMax screening, was about 6 rows back, way too close, should have sat in the back, some of the grainy footage needs distance, plus the volume was concert level, felt a little bit pummelled by the end, and I’m a big fan. Still it was exciting and epic, loved the candid audio interview with John Bonham, and Robert being basically homeless at the beginning (didn’t realise)
Also loved the reactions of the other clearly hearing the Bonham interview for the first time (or first time in decades) and seeing the video footage, in some cases for the first time as well.

Nice to see them all so upbeat about it all. Wish that there would have been something with all three of them together reminiscing, but it was well done. Kudos to the editors.

I hope it is very successful but I am shocked they didn't release this to streaming. There are new, excellent movie docs released every week to streaming.
Why would I go to a theater for this?
It will stream soon enough, I imagine. And will be the same movie when it does, so no reason to rush to the theater if you'd rather not.

For me, it was something for a friend of mine and I to do together. Good time enjoying good music.

As enjoyed as it might be on streaming (and even on Blu-ray), those experiences can not match that of seeing the movie on an IMAX screen and through massive theatrical speakers

didn't see it on IMAX as I don't have one nearby where I live, but on the big screen with big sound was an enjoyable experience.

I always enjoy going to the theater except for the fact that my old guy-parts don't let me get through a 2-hour movie as easily as I used to. The last 15 minutes were getting rather excruciating, but I was determined to finish it out.

I get it ! My arthritic knee was killing me but the music kept me mesmerized
