Well thank you for starting the topic at SHF, would be great if some hoffmanites will pay attention to this release and previous ones from Magenta and Kompendium.

The version I play tested was 48k DTS and it sounded astonishing, so the hi-res should be mind-blowing!Confirmation of content as follows:
24/96 5.1 & stereo in MLP.
DTS 96/24 5.1 (why did they turn it back asswards?) and also LPCM 24/96 stereo.
3 promo films, all with 16/48 LPCM stereo soundtrack.
Put it this way - if you are a fan of the first 3 Oldfield albums (Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn), this is a must buy record.

That would be great, I'll buy them again for that, Pure Audio Blu-ray perhaps?
I'd prefer DVD-A....
P.S. Looking forward to the Rob Reed release.... Sounds great...
Rob just sent me the MLP 96/24 of this to play test and let me tell you that it's absolutely stunning! The clarity, detail and finesse is a joy to hear and makes interplay between the instrumentation and their positioning in the surround field really sparkle. It has loads of warmth and almost breathes, it's so clear. I've been sat all the way through with a huge grin on my face as it's easily up there with the top four or five surround discs I have ever heard on my system (including the 2L ones) Reference quality.
Rob Reed and Neil Wilkes may well be a surround dream team!
Agree with you 100% on both, DVDA please and really, really looking forward to this release
