I was just checking what $6.98 [rounded out to $7], the price of a WEA QUADRADISC cost in 1975 in comparison to 2021:

$35.13 Adjusted for inflation, $7.00 in 1975 is equal to $35.13 in 2021. Annual inflation over this period was 3.57%. Value of a dollar.

So, Audio Fidelity's $30

• for their Warner QUAD SACDs was basically right on the money and Rhino/Warner's 2 QUADIO Chicago/Doobies Brothers box sets were veritable bargains.
  
  And 45 years later, Warner/Elektra/Atlantic are still sitting on a treasure trove of unreleased QUAD Masters and every year the demand for those reissues in 'stunning' 2021 technology is dwindling. And RHINO seems to be hellbent on re~releasing those extant QUAD masters on 'remastered STEREO vinyl...an egregious example being the 50th Anniversary of WAR which has 3 unreleased QUAD titles!

  FORAGING RHINO, if you're reading this: you are our last hope.......time's a wastin': Columbia and its Associated Labels through SONY has forged a remarkable relationship with UK's Dutton Vocalion and has succeeded in releasing over 200 QUAD SACDs and counting....including some UMG titles!
  
  There IS definitely a world wide market for SURROUND. With WEA being the final hold~out ........ before those QUAD analogue master tapes are lost FOREVER ..... Don't you really think IT'S TIME!
