5.1 & Atmos Fan

I recently set up a new 7.1 system, calibrated it and verified the speakers through a "Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon" 50th setup program. The 5.1 checked out fine, but the Atmos has the rear (L/R) speakers swapped with the middle (L/R) Speakers. Could the CD be defective?

Don't rely on the DSOTM disc for channel assignment. There is something wonky with it. Try searching the site for discussion on this.

Your avr should be able to send a tone to each speaker to verify the cables are correct.
I had a pair flipped....

Yup, the cables are correctly installed and the sounds from calibration are perfect. I think it must be the Atmos mix on the CD.

With 5.1 are you expecting the surround signals to come from behind you?
