The original '90s Columbia CD (CD 34680) is cheap and plentiful (you can get it for about 4 bucks used on discogs) and is the best this album has ever sounded, full dynamic range and nice tonality like all of the Columbia masterings of that era. Don't spend any extra money on the Japanese release from the same era (SRCS 6183) because it's a digital clone of the same mastering. All the subsequent reissues and remasters are compressed to some degree or another, including the BGO - not sure I've ever heard a BGO remaster that ever sounded great, but kudos to them at least for providing in a lot of instances the only digital release of an album. But with this one you have better choices.

Sadly this album was never released in quad, missing the window probably by only a few months in early-mid 1977. There are rumours of some kind of 'phantom copies' out there and a few fantasists who insist they have one, but there's no entry for a quad copy in the Library of Congress Catalog of Copyright entries, which definitively rules it out as having been issued.
