Nope. That was a different situation. MoFi's license would have been North America-specific, and CDJapan is just a retailer. The prospective label was Sony Japan, and Sony Japan—the parent company of Columbia Records, who own the Simon & Garfunkel recording catalogue—could have freely released Bridge Over Troubled Water during MoFi's exclusivity period, just as Rhino can release a Quadio of any Warner title licensed to MoFi. It was speculated that Paul Simon, as writing (and maybe publishing?) copyright holder to the songs, vetoed the release. None of the quad mixes of his albums have seen digital rereleases.
