This is my listing so I figured I'd post here, too.
I bought it on eBay back in June of 2020 as "New-Old-Stock," never used. But, when I plugged it in for the first time, it was dead. I took it to a reputable repair shop near me and it was fixed to the best of my knowledge. I bought it because my receiver at the time had crappy sounding CD-4. But I've upgraded since and don't need this anymore.
It powers on just fine. The CD-4 Radar light works when playing a CD-4 Quadradisc record using a CD-4 capable cartridge/stylus. But I never actually tried to set it up using the separation controls. I bought my Sansui 9001 as an upgrade while this was in the shop for repairs. The CD-4 in that receiver works fine.
Since I'm not 100% sure that this works properly, I'm selling it as parts only. All the paperwork and instructions for setup are included.
