Controlling Kodi Using a Remote Control
I just recently purchased the Minix Remote. Here I’ll show what I’ve been able to pick up so far. I found that most of the keys on the front work out of the box with a few exceptions. The Keyboard on the rear will take some experimentation to see which keys work. I wanted to change the action of one of the front keys so I installed the Kodi Add-On “Keymap Editor” which edits the Userdata Keyboard.xml file. Pretty easy!

I’m using Leia 18.6, LibreELEC, and Aeon Nox: Silvo 7.0.9…

Key Modification
This key typically takes me to the Kodi Home Window instead of back to the previous View or Window. After installing the Keymap Editor Add-On I was able to define the action of the key so as to navigate back one step!
