IN SURROUND!

(besides, I'm getting restless in this convalescing period and since this is the Forum I call HOME -endless thanks to Jon for standing me!)

OK, today we've had;

- Björk-Post DualDisc (hey, it IS 96/24 DTS!!! I'm sure it was upsampled, cause there was no such thing in 1994/95 ..correct me if I'm wrong)
-Fleetwood Mac-Rumours DVD-A
will keep it up,

Cheers,
:smokin

Sting - 10 Summoner's Tales DTS Disc
Santana- Amigos (fake quad , but dig those Lexicon 'verbs!)
Elton John- Honky Chateau SACD

and of course, the daily dosage of the healing sounds of
-Makino Jun- Still Point (SACD)

Ha!

I do not belive this, my dear wife pulled her back and is now on Skelaxin, naproxin and limited duty!
Misery does not love company.

Just for her I am playing the relaxing "The Girl in the Other Room" Dianna Krall SACD.

It sucks getting old! :mad:

Spyro Gyra - In Modern Times ~ Surround SACD. Great album and still available new on Amazon.com for only $13. Pretty good price for an SACD.

Bob Romano's "Surround Explosion!" is a fixture in my car. I listen to it at least once a day (I have a 40 minute commute). Occasionally, I'll throw a couple discs in the car for variety. I just finished downloading AoQ's conversion of the Laura Nyro Reel, so I'll pop that in later on tonight.

Can't wait for more conversions from Bob though. I sent him a bunch a few months back. The two he's put out have sounded awesome and can't wait to hear the next couple. I've sent him some purty darn RARE (or Hard to Find) Q8's. Stay Tuned :)

-Chicago X (homebrewed DVD-A)...just cause I mentioned it earlier....

(DSOTM DVD-A crept into the list too)

EDIT;

Foreigner 4, and Both KCs! AGAIN!!!

Phoebe Snow - Second Childhood SQ
Synergy - QS CD
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road SACD 5.1
Tomita - Snowflakes Dolby Surround CD

Synergy is Fantastic..on top of that I've been in contact with Mr. Fast, who had/has plans to release his first LP in Hi definition Surround!!! I'd have to say my favorite one is "Cords", though....

ELton's "GYBR" is on the list too,

and Tomita is one of my staples..some INCREDIBLE transfers from the usual suspects!!! Snowflakes IS my fave, since Debussy is one of those composers that REALLY touches me-wish I had a minimum of his genius..just cause you share the same birthday doesn't mean ...well, you know..

Got the CD-4 of Snowflakes when it was a new release. Became an instant fan! ISAO!!! Still have Synergy on clear vinyl. And I had that CD-4 of GYBR. Huh? You mean GYBR on CD-4 is just an acid flashback? Sure sounded like a wide Quad mix back then. No wonder that CD-4 radar light looked like a kaleidoscope.
