I wonder does anyone have a listening experience with this quad LP?

I have own this several years and dig it very much. But I hope I could heard it in quad on day.

No polls for this one (or for Brown's two other QS-LPs on Impulse!), although @steelydave's research for the Quad Engineers database shows that contrary to my previous assumption, the quad mix on Geechee is actually by Rick Heenan, not Bager Bigsby. (Heenan also did Jarrett's Fort Yahwuh and Treasure Island, Gary Saracho's En Medio, and--a little later--The Isleys' The Heat Is On, which remained unreleased until Dutton brought it out at the end of 2023.)

To answer your question: I don't have a clear memory of the mix on this one--it's been years since I listened to it--although both the limitations of the QS format and producer Ed Michel's relatively conservative approach to quad guarantee there won't be a ton of separation. My listening notes say: not a very wide soundstage, but some occasional quasi-discrete elements (including horns) in the rears.
