We all know a bit about the National Recording Archives where music of significance is recognized & persevered for prosperity. But I've never even read a wiki article about details of their activity. From the article below I learned that songs, not albums, are honored by this admission. And those songs are set on a quanity of only 25 a year. The list is in the link. Quite interesting that the oldest song admitted is from 1921 and the newest from 2010. Haha I've never heard of either of them. But numbers 15 & 16 are winners in my book!
