Dark Matter was the first Pearl Jam album I've ever bought, and I like both the music and the Atmos mix. The older stuff is unknown to me so I let this release be.

Great and all but... they really released this before making a Blu-ray for Ten? Like, I'm not sure I understand the process honestly.
I personally think that there is some momentum building for physical Atmos releases. Clearly the demand exists, and artists/labels understand that sales will be modest yet still worthwhile. SDE’s successful program is partly responsible. Rhino’s too.

Also the economics. How many times must an artist’s Spatial Audio be streamed to match the revenue created by the sales of a physical release? Plus these mixes are being made primarily for streaming, so a physical release incurs little additional expense.

The website prompts you to join the Ten Club in order to order the blu ray. But it allows you to get a free membership.
That’s interesting. I am a long time Ten Club member and was already logged in when I ordered. I did not see any indication on the website that it was a member exclusive item as those are typically noted somehow.

I've ordered this, under £30 shipped to the UK, a bargain, BDs from SDE are regularly more than this. I never did get Vitalogy, the nearest I came was the CD single Spin The Black Circle/Tremor Christ
Also ordered to be shipped to UK. PJ is my favourite band and I adore this album. I’ve spent more for surround albums that I liked way less than this. Bargain.
