I have bought one of these and it is missing the pin type connector cords. My question is where can you find replacement connector pin cords? These are the original 4 connector cords that came with the scope. Is there a place that has replacement pin cords or the parts to make them? Thank you.

Have you a picture of the receptacle for the pin cords, or a service manual for the scope?
If I had to guess, i'd pick 4-Pin DIN, which can have different spacing for the pins if 270deg or180deg.

Here is the best one I could find. It is not that kind of pin connector. I hope this helps

We had an SD-1100 on our "Dream Quad system" in my store. As I recall, it uses a double banana plug. RCA phono jack to double banana plug adaptors are what you would need. Pomona # 1442.

Here is a list of 8 Pomona distributors who stock this product, incl Allied, Newark & Mouser w/stock availabliity & links:

Of course, for each channel, you need one of these attached to a cable with an RCA plug at each end, if you're connecting it to a device which accepts RCA's.

I think they are single ones, one positive and one negative. The cord has two wires and 2 single ends. If you could split this into 2 single ones into an RCA plug for the other end. Could that be similar? Thanks for the info.

Maybe I got it wrong. I really never saw any cables except pictures in the manual. Thank you again for your help.

Electrically, the double and single banana plugs are the same. The spacing is the only issue. I believe the doubles will work. You could measure them to be sure, although it is doubtful that they would differ from standard spacing. Mfg's original lit does specify banana plugs: http://www.kallhovde.com/pioneer/sd-1100-b.pdf

Okay, thanks! I will give them a shot. Do these come on an already made cable?

You'll need to do some research for that. Any RCA to RCA is essentially a ready-made cable attached to that adaptor. Those are, of course, the most common type of audio cable. You'll need three of them, if you use the SD-1100's oscillator output.

Be especially careful when generating extreme high or low frequencies, as our ears don't perceive them as loud as they really are. You could damage your speakers. We nearly took out the windows on our audio room once.

Okay, thanks for the heads up!
