It's one thing when one or two members pass but hard to believe that they are all gone now. I'm starting to feel old.

Some of his solos were amazing. I had the pleasure of seeing them multiple times.

All passed away. They were the greatest, never been another group like them. Listening to Music From Big Pink for the first time in 1968 was like a secular epiphany.

Loved them ever since.
Such a talent....so sad

The intro to Chest Fever is one of the best things ever recorded IMO.

Been listening to this 1980 album he did. Issued on CD in 2005. Lots of atmospheric synth & organ sounds along with angelic voices & some Ray Bradbury text read out by Charlton Heston.
