Its because of Adam(fredblue) that this thread is being started because he keeps posting great finds by this great surround team. I'm sure there are many more things we can piece together and I have found it a great help when going to Elliot Scheiner thread to find out his great mixes so thought we should have one for Ronald P. and Darcy P. as well.

While trying to find out more information about the german sacd that Adam just got called (herbert groenmeyer-Mensch), I am not sure yet but this might be one by them as well as I see that ronald prent worked on this album so if someone can confirm that would be great.

Here are some pictures from my SACD "Herbert Grönemeyer - Mensch" mixed and mastered by Ronald Prent.










I already wrote it in another thread: I bought this SACD on Ebay for 1€ because it was not described as SACD.
I saw the picture with the Super Jewel Case and asked the seller if SACD is mentioned on the backside.
Normally it`s out of print and expensive on Ebay.

5.1 Mix and sound quality are great. One of my favourite Surround Mixes. I am listening to it at the moment.
Just finished "In Absentia" DVD-A before and i like "Mensch" better!

Thankyou for confirming this as I have ordered this as well,will take a few weeks as coming from a seller in Germany.
I hope I can find a copy of Mensch as that is high praise saying you like it better than PT In Absentia as porcupine tree are one of my favorite's in 5.1.

Plenty of dynamics on them titles; stellar job! I wish Darcy would of mastered Soundgarden and Primus Blu rays.

SW should of used Darcy instead of Astley or the Pewtilator. The mastering on Opeth's Heritage and Jethro Tull titles is not great.

No problem, I was curious so I pulled it to see. While I had the PT archive open I checked Lightbulb Sun and it says that it was mixed and mastered at No Mans Land so I'm assuming by SW also.

Yesterday i bought the Blu-Ray "AC/DC - Live at Donington".
Mastered by D. Proper.

I am a big AC/DC-Fan since 1993. I already have DVD`s from concerts i visited myself (Munich 2001 & 2003), the "No Bull"-DVD with a concert from 1996 and the Blu-Ray "Let there be rock" (Paris 1979). I don`t like the sound of any of this releases. Now i hope that Darcy Proper got it right on this Blu-Ray.





I will write my opinion soon, also had no time to listen to it yet.
