This is something I have been seeing on Ebay for awhile and don't understand what is going on. I am seeing multiple sellers all selling the same item - not the same model, the exact same item. Right now on Ebay there are four different (or are they?) sellers selling the same QDS-1. Note that the volume knob is not original and makes it easy to see they are all selling the same item.

Can someone explain this?

Did anyone figure out what's going on with Ebay auctions? Right now there are six different sellers (all in Japan) selling the same used Jack Cassidy Epiphone bass guitar. Same serial number, same pictures but different prices. Why does Ebay allow this?

Wow, not only that but most of those used basses with the same pictures/serial are more expensive than a listing for a new one from a US seller.

I suspect it is a group of sellers who work together to widen their collective chances, as and when one of them makes a sale it is delisted from all of their postings. Not a scam, just a creative way around ebay's multiple listing policy. Probably.

Or maybe they swiped the picture rather than photograph theirs.

I bought a used Dual 1006 record changer and what I got did not match the photos. The size feelers were in the photos, but were missing from mine. I used it for parts to fix another one.
