We had 27 buyers for round one, 22 buyers round 2, now it’s time to think about Round 3. There are limited supplies of Intel NUCs, so be quick.

We are doing this at cost plus expenses for QQ members.

The current price for US residents: $139 USD (BEK) $145 USD (BEH) + shipping from NY + buyer buys a new power supply ($13.90 inc. shipping - ebay link provided)

There are a limited number of 2nd hand refurbished Intel NUCs available, these will be gone soon. There will not be a Round 4.

If Round 3 proceeds shipping is approx 3 weeks away. Round 1 and 2 shipping will begin next week

I am late to the party, but if this is still open I would very much like to get in on this. My primary interest is the one that can hold a 2.5" drive, BEH (US $145 + shipping etc...). Either way, thank you for your hard work on this!

There will be No Round 4. Both @LuvMyQuad and I want to return to our normal lives. We just hit 63 pages in our NUC PM thread (just the two of us)

I’ll add you to the Round 3 list, we will call for deposits soon.

Round 1 has begun to ship, Round 2 out by Monday. Then we will wrap up Round 3. Paul may want a break, but I’d guess around 3 will ship within 10 days.

I'm honestly not sure what hooked me on this: the screenshots, or the price. Except it wasn't either of those; it was my experience with MMH and Garry's attention to detail.

Well, now that I think about it, it's probably a combination. I have no idea how you guys are making a profit for QQ at these prices; I mean, OK, I haven't really looked around at used Coffee Lake NUCs, but it seems like you guys are putting a tremendous amount of work into them!

In any case, I'm very excited.

Thanks. There is no profit, we are doing this at cost + expenses.

Both Paul and I underestimated the time required by a large factor, mind you I thought we may only get a dozen or so takers. Now over 60 QQers will have these soon!

I first posted about why members should consider a Media Player when I first started this QQ sub-forum in 2016. Back then there seemed only a handful of members were interested. It’s come a long way in 9 years!

The process for previous rounds was: (Payments via PayPal)
Call for a deposit (via group PM to all in the round)
Then call for final payment (via group PM) and ask members to PM their shipping address individually for privacy)

But since we have all the R3 NUCs in stock and NVME SSDs being shipped now, we may just ask for full payment and shipping info at same time and just go ahead and ship.

Paul (@LuvMyQuad) has his assembly plant running like clockwork now!!
