Hard core Jazz fans view Spyrogrya as the poster children for the dreaded and generic "smooth jazz" genre - yet they have a strong, devoted fan base that have kept them going for over 25 years. I find myself somewhere in the middle - every now and then I find myself getting sucked into their cloying grooves and melodic if predictable tunes. "Wrapped in A Dream" is another solid MC release from Heads Up - great production, discrete mix. Great playing and a few decent tunes rescue this from being just another cookie cutter record. I'm sure that if you are a Spyogrya fan you will be quite pleased - as you should be. All in all a solid release - I give it an 8.

I like all of the Spyro Gyra offerings, and this sounds very nice. I have a hard time giving it a 10, making it the best there can be over all others. Nothing at all wrong with it. A 7.
