Looking to upgrade to new quad receiver and these seem to come and go online for a lot cheaper than the much more desirable marantz quadradial or sansui units...caught my eye since it seems to have the same CD-4 circuitry as the legendary SH-400 demodulator. However the lack of separation or carrier controls is weird and the specs I found online only show 10 watts per channel. Seems way underpowered compared to 40 wpc on my LR-4000 or 60 wpc on the QRX-9001.
Does anyone have one (or some other model in this technics series)? Are they good?
