For those who may still use laserdiscs, like me, I bought the DDP1 when it first came out at $500
and I got another for $30 at a thrift store.
I'm always reconfiguring, and I just got a great deal on Pioneer vsx-91txh.
The Dolby AC3 comes out the RF signal of the Laserdisc player to the DDP1 and then decodes and
comes out the analog outputs.
Though the DDP1 is large and there are other decoders out there, a simple trick will make it simpler
to use.
See the pictures, by stealing 1 of the RCA jacks(either center or Sub out)and connecting with a .22mfd
cap to pin 3 of IC you get the decoded AC3 signal and then just connect to your receivers coax digital input
and let the receiver do the Dolby decoding.
You don't need multi channel in[puts and an extr4 6 wires.
