Your Best Sounding Stereo SACD's

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my 5.x.x speakers and am blown away by the ability of the towers to render a huge, holographic, layered soundstage.

It has me dusting off a lot of my stereo SACDs and wanting more. Now granted, your average release still sounds average, but the really good ones sound simply amazing.

Off the top of your head, what are some of your better stereo SACD's from a fidelity standpoint? Nothing OOP AND uber expensive to procure please.

This one. Make sure you get the Unmastered SACD. I do most of my listening in 2-channel these days, and this is absolutely reference quality. Her rendition of "Ode to Billy Joe" is my favorite track.

I've been chirping about this title ever since I bought it...way back. The fidelity, beautiful haronies and superb stereo placement of vocals across front speakers is outstanding. It's far and above my favorite Beach Boys SACD in terms of fidelity.

Dan...glad to hear that your new speakers added a new dimension....now add a Carver C-9 Sonic Holography Generator and you'll be further amazed.
