Arrived here in Utrecht today, without a booklet. First impression is very positive! It had been quite a while since I bought this album, so very nice to hear it again.

I think I read somewhere that you would have to switch front and rear channels for that mix...

By the way: Paul @SDE has confirmed that indeed there is NO booklet:

Mine arrived today. Have to say this was a bit of a speculative purchase as I am not familiar with the artist. What a pleasant surprise! Songs are great and the mix is well done!
Try the next album toooooo - Under the Iron Sea - Great too, but much greater
got Snood shipping notice today to Sunny Florida (hate this state btw) - pretty sure the band slept with the late shipping discs overnight, so very excited to have them caress Snood skin soon. yes Snood got 2....threesomes and all. Snood have to get what Snood can get when can get, not much ummmm action these days

Great listen, clean crisp mix, nothing too daring in the rears but its basic piano/ keys, drums and vocals so there isn’t much to play with. I know the album well and the mix opens in up nicely. But no booklet, not a mention of who plays in this band, or who wrote the songs. Those who want physical product want the extra info like lyrics info etc.
Agreed! I still have not received an answer from Paul Sinclair/SDE about the lack of/missing booklet.

My copy arrived today, it's beautiful!! The veil has been pulled off this amazing album. For me, this is everything I was hoping for.
Think I'll use the old SACD to prop up the short leg on the dining room table because this new version blows away the old one!

He’s actually done one more Atmos mix that’s currently up on streaming - Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder On The Dancefloor”.
I do have the SACD. The Atmos version is very good. I am not a big Keane fan, really, but enhancement of sound on any work is desired and appreciated. Who knows? Maybe after a few more listens I'll become enamored.

My copy arrived today. I never heard this album before. Songs are excellent. I was going to pass on it, but GOS's remarks about the album when pre-order was available led me to pull the trigger. Thank you GOS.
I'm not feeling particularly impressed. Yes, the new Blu Ray mixes are an improvement over the earlier 5.1 mix, but I didn't find myself particularly wowwed by the mixes here.
Then again, I'm trying to think of ways to improve upon it all. The sounds on Hopes and Fears aren't particularly layered to the point where there's a lot to work in a surround sound sense.
I actually was pretty excited for this release. I will listen more to further refine my opinion, but I'm not feeling that great right now about it.

I’m not surprised that it’s not very layered as it’s only got keyboards, bass, drums and vocals on it. I’m still waiting for my copy to arrive but I do have the SACD version while I’m waiting and I must say that Bedshaped is my absolute favourite on this album especially when the keyboards really kick in.
