We get a few quail here in Idaho, but only during the summer.

If you've seen them, they are there all year. Family/ friends Idaho.

I've never even come close to a fan of metal, but if I was anywhere located near this event...I'd not hesitate to spend the day there. That would be a once in a lifetime for me.

My guess is that it may be available to live stream.

Only goat I have ever eaten was Antelope. Don't care for it nearly as much as ELK.

I used work with a woman from Barbados who would bring in curry goat to have for lunch. She let a co-worker and myself sample some of it and we both loved it. After that she would always bring in a Tupperware container for each of us whenever she cooked up a batch.

The whole quail thread has been funny for me, as I had a friend back in my teen days whose father owned a quail farm.

Large quantities of quail chicks were kept in round screen enclosures -- what a sight! You couldn't attach yourself to one,
though, as the idea behind the farm was that it was out "in the sticks" as we said back then, and, when proper-sized,
they were released into the surrounding woods where hunters paid the farmer to "hunt" them.

I guess in my younger days I hunted/ate about every game native to Florida. We don't really have any big game here but lots of varmits.
Me and a bud used to go frog gigging and fishing a lot, then fry them up over a campfire. Other times camping and bagging quail, dove, rabbits etc. Never was much into deer hunting after seeing some of the idiots that shoot everything that moves, including people.

These days I just take pleasure in seeing them come out of the woods to forage on my property. My place gets pretty busy in deer season.

That must be awesome. The most I see in my garden is a hedgehog a couple of times a year.

LOL, in suburban Massachusetts we see a deer in the woods and immediately think Lyme disease(which is endemic in our area).

Okay. A few weeks back, i was at a bowling tournament where they were giving out free Dude Wipes. I grabbed a handful and stuffed them in my coat pocket. This week, at senior discount day at my local grocery store, i was standing in line, and i reached in my pocket to retrieve my wallet. One of the Dude Wipes fell out and landed on the floor. The woman in front of me turned around, looked down at the package on the floor, then looked back at me and said, "Goodness! At your age you're still using condoms!?"

Remastered CSN?

I asked about any surround for CSN albums being remastered or made, and Barncard only mentioned Crosby's 5.1 solo.
Of course I pointed out the proposed Stills first solo surround that was supposed to come out! This was back in July,
but I see it reappeared on Barncard's FB page recently. Will be released through Acoustic Records (not Sounds? guess
it will all be vinyl then, sigh).

I would love to see Manassas in surround. Doubtful it will ever happen.

I was on a new job trying to suck it up and trying to learn the "culture". I think I made it until 1983 when I told them to kiss my ass and I moved to my current property in North Florida.
In '79 trying to keep a place to stay and keep up with payments to the Ex was hard.
There is much in that year I would not say in public. Suffice to say a change of venue and living in a tent for a year changed my perspective on what, and what is not important.
Besides, a full 24 count case of Old Milwaukee was $5.

But you really didn't want to hear all that. lol.
