I am ecstatic to have come across a group of people who focus on the quality of music rather than the quantity of music. In my many failed attempts to explain/show my friends the overwhelming difference a 5.1 DVD-A sounds like compared to one of their fm quality 96kbps ipod mp3s it was almost like trying to teach someone a new language. In my experience, they either get it, or they don't.

About me..... Well, I focus on archiving, so far I have a compendium of well organized multimedia that I have collected over the decades. I am an inventor that open sources his inventions, and have a disdain for money but an affinity towards reciprocity. I pent some time in the Marines and currently do AV/ipCAM work for Schlumberger. I do run a small plex server, at 96TB it contains a little under 8,000 movies, 100 TV Series, and 200 multi-channel albums.

Mr. Tim, if you are the cause of this website's existence, I can't thank you enough. Also, I believe that I might have lived right down the road from you not too long ago. Ever heard of Thompson's Station? Is spring hill still the speed trap it once was? Hwy 31 if I recall correctly I look forward to helping in any way I can.
