Hmm, if only there were already-existing 5.1 mixes of some of these albums just waiting to be reissued...
You beat me to the punch. (Seems like the SACDs are sort of an afterthought; the vinyl-heads are all excited about the UHQR 45 rpm sets.)
I wonder if the Bernie Grundman and/or Scott Hull remasterings will constitute improvements over the existing best masterings?

Why this enthusiasm for stereo SACD's? Isn't this a MC forum?
Now if somebody subsequently announces a set of 5.1 remixes (or, if he's been miraculously and belatedly converted, Atmos remixes) by Elliot Scheiner, then they can just set me up for a series of direct debits to my checking account.
As someone on the Dandom FB page aptly reminded me, Walter Becker once drily allowed as how he was "all for any technology that gets our fans to go out and buy our albums again.”

Wish I could elicit a bit of excitement but I have a lot of those titles either on Universal's STEREO SHM~SACDs and/or multi~CH DVD~A and SACD. Another missed opportunity for AP by not including the existing multi~CH mixes!
Universal's SHM~SACD of PRETZEL LOGIC even comes in one of their nifty little boxes
