Not only would Darling Diana drop off a double crusted pizza to Gos and Mrs. Gos, she'd also do a duet with Gene:

I suspect that Gos might be grillin' and chillin'(y)and drinking...not thinking...:dance

The Perfect Avatar Photo, Gene. Even consider posing for a QuadraphonicQuadforum CENTERFOLD?

Of course you'd be clad in Bermuda shorts and a Clint Eastwood Tee

Oh! Hahaha!! I love the music but, compared to the 15-20 years or so before it, hasn’t aged so well.

The worst thing about the 80's music is that it had to follow the 60's and 70's music...not an easy act to follow...the litmus test is simple...that 60's and 70's music is still loved by younger generations...most of the 80's music didn't have a very long shelf life..

No...actually that was a true statement:cool:..Gos does love the 80's...ask him...he will tell you(y)....I loved the 80's too...not the music so much...but some of it.....but the period...I was a wannabe Miami Vice studo_O

True, hasn’t aged so well...but memories (or lack of) of cruising Main Street in my 442 with Ozzy cranked on my Pioneer in dash and Jenson TriaxII 6x9’s....now those are the times I cherish. Bong hidden in my center console...and so on.

I listen to as much, if not more, 80’s (considered New Wave) music today than the 70’s output. I feel most of it is good even though some of it hasn’t aged so well. This is true with music in any generation. I’m not talking about rock n’ roll.

Oh...I'm talking about rock/pop/soul music...not classical...generally the rock music of the 60's and 70's is FAR superior to the rock of the 80's...quantity and quality..

For me, the 80’s New Wave was about style, character and music. Other than that, there were the hair bands and roughly 90% of them I didn’t like and the start of rap music which intrigued me in the beginning but progressively grew worse.

Weather is such an interesting thing. Back home, it is 92 degrees and we have a heat advisory. 12 hours north.....it's totally foggy, cool breeze blowing off the lake. I guess it's 68 degrees.

Good thing you brought your long johns!

It's supposed to be hovering around the 100 degree mark for the next three days in New York.....which constitutes a heat wave!
