hahaha, yes, I forgot. OK, I'll try to duplicate what you are doing. I'll take an iphone pic at highest resolution, forward it to my laptop...I'll copy and paste. But regardless, I think it should work. Paste the picture in your post......then click the picture and drag it smaller. Or maybe you can't even get it to populate? Again, just a copy and paste. It's nothing like the way it used to work. Much easier these days.

OK, Clint. You are right. I just tried to copy and paste a picture that was a larger resolution. It acted like it was going to paste...but it sort of blew up and said it was too big.

So, unfortunately - what you would have to do is load the picture into "paint" and reduce it by...say....."50%". Save it, then post it. Ugh....that's a hassle, but I can't think of any other way to do it. If you need help with that, I can walk you through it via PM.

Gene, you need to tell us exactly how you got a picture of this clarity attached to your post. This should be as simple as it gets, but like Clint, I keep experiencing size or focus issues. I have an iPhone 7 and a laptop with Windows 10 and a gmail account.

I had tapatalk for awhile...but it notified me everytime there was a like on a post...it just overwhelmed my emails....I probably could have adjusted it somehow in the settings...but I just stopped using it...

Because my eyes are old and staring at the forum on my phone wears me out. Via Tapatalk, everything is much easier for me to read and navigate. I suspect me liking it doesn't hurt anyone else. Also, ease of posting pictures in Tapatalk is easier for me. Just my preference.

Just when I thought I'd seen it all....there is more...more of "nothing" for more "money".....Brian Eno's wet dream gone bad...he's decided to sell 6 CDs and a 64 page book for this price but did I mention it has a plexiglass cover and some of his artistic ramblings...he fancies himself a poet....so if you are into plexiglass and expensive CDs...this is for you....I expect Ralphie to order 2 of them...they would make great Christmas gifts...well...to those who love plexiglass anyway

So, I've had some renewed interest in the "additional" discs that are part of these crazy box sets. I got out my Fleetwood Mac - Mirage 2016 Deluxe Box. I had already ripped, long ago, the 5.1 of the original album. The DR on that is very good.

So today, I notice they have a 2016 Remaster of the original album on disc 1. It's a CD. It's crap.....so I crawl back cautiously to Disk 4, which is the DVD-Video. It has, not only the 5.1, but in stereo, LPCM 96/24. I though...maybe, just maybe. Nope, DR is shit. Good God...really?

Then I think...hmmm. The vinyl. I ever so cautiously clean it on both sides, put it on the platter. I go ahead and rip it..not knowing what I'll have. I did think it sounded damn good....was it placebo?

It's funny you mention that....there are all kinds of theories about how you really can't measure the DR from vinyl using that method...BUT....even if the numbers aren't exactly correct...they are meaningful because as long as you use the same method for all sources...the difference between them is still evident...but hearing is the biggest vindication....if is sounds better...it is better....and that is the most important part isn't it...the metrics aren't important if it doesn't sound good...
