Denny Siewell? I met him in 1981, nice guy.

Yes, Denny Seiwell. He was about 12 years older than myself, but I remember seeing him home on leave from the U.S. Navy (he played in the Navy band). His Dad was a drummer and both of his siblings were also musicians; his sister also had the herculean task of babysitting my brother and I. I finally had the opportunity to see him play when his jazz trio played in Jim Thorpe, PA about five years ago. Back in '73, it was pretty cool seeing him come home to visit his parents and pulling up to the house in a limo. And yes, he is a nice guy, always crediting the Lehighton Boys Band for getting him started.
