You know how they say, one man's trash (blah, blah, blah...) So, show us what you got. Old rock magazines...ticket stubs...T-Shirts...promotional items...buttons, patches & pins...old Beatle cards(!), etc. We all have at least some of these kinds of things. Let's see the Rock 'n' Roll related items you've amassed over the years, that for whatever reason you've been unable to toss. Since I've been on a STIFF Records jag lately, I'll get the ball rolling with this. I have no idea why I saved it all this time, but here is a 20-page promotional insert from the long defunct, music industry trade, Record World. Looking at the STIFF Discography on page 14, I filled in all the boxes except for three. My OCD must have been running wild at the time. I wish I still had them. I'm afraid to guess what they'd be worth today.

I was a big fan of Pete Frame's wild and wooly British music magazine, ZIGZAG. If a print magazine could ever be labeled Garage Rock, it would be ZIGZAG. An amazing pub that I'd read from cover-to-cover whenever I could score an issue here in the states.

I can't believe it's been twenty years since the Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE tour hit the U.S. I saw the show in Chicago on October 2nd., 2004 from terrific box seats at the spectacular Auditorium Theatre. Sumptuous surroundings and breathtaking music. As someone who patiently waited for the release of the SMiLE album since 1966, it is a concert experience I will treasure forever. Great souvenir book, too!

Garage walls are spouse friendly locations for album posters that would otherwise be stuck in the closet

I was forced to give up a small storage room that had decades of framed posters in it. And so I ended up nailing them up in my hallway from front door. And it looks a little like this. I prefer a clean uncluttered look in general but ended up happy to see my old posters back up again. Pix coming soon.
