Hmmm, just went into dgmlive.com to see if they have a cool coffee mug cause I just broke my LTiA cover coffee mug's handle (but I krazy glued it back!!! ) and found THIS little tidbit and was wondering if it was going to be MCH sice they mention that it's going to be in FULL MULTI FORMAT and we kinda know what THAT means: A BOX SET!!!!...
I hope so, I have both LPs and love them to bits....

Hmmm, a word of caution, Kap. Get rid of that Krazy Glued MUG. I recently was racing around the house with my very heavy coffee mug in hand and it slipped out of my grip and landed on my BIG TOE, breaking it....my toe, that is. The MUG survived [naturally]!

That would be cool, but of course, we have to get the EXPOSURE set first, and I know there's lots of people on here who will be very happy with some of the contents of that one...

In a new interview Andy mentions that a reissue is coming in September. Fripp posted a link to the interview on his social media as well. No mention as to whether or not it will have any surround content. Andy refers to it as "3 CDs". Relevant portion at the six minute mark.

A 3CD/1Blu-Ray set collecting all Andy Summers and Robert Fripp's 1980s collaborative work plus copious extras.

The original albums I Advance Masked (1982) and Bewitched (1984) are included, alongside a third album Mother Hold the Candle Steady which has been compiled from previously unreleased material (mixed and assembled by David Singleton).

The Blu-Ray includes all three albums mixed by David Singleton in 5.1 DTS-HD MA surround and 24/96 hi-res stereo, the original stereo mixes of I Advance Masked and Bewitched newly mastered in 24/96 hi-res stereo, and a ‘fly on the wall’ audio documentary - ‘Can We Record Tony?’ - taken from Robert Fripp’s own archive cassettes of the 2 guitarists’ original improvisations and conversations (in 24/96 hi-res).

Presented in a 10-panel book-sized digi-sleeve with 16-page booklet including photos, sleeve notes taken from new Sid Smith interviews with Andy Summers and Robert Fripp, and a fascinating ‘Tale of the Tapes’ page by David Singleton on how / where the previously unreleased material was recently discovered / sourced.

A 200g audiophile vinyl of I Advance Masked, featuring a 2024 stereo mix by David Singleton and cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering is also available. It includes two previously unreleased tracks.

Pleased this is coming out, in no hurry to pre-order with the backlog of material in the Exposures box I've not gotten around to yet.

With the demise of the USA DGM store, Burning Shed's shipping charge seems reasonable.

I am not familiar with these albums, though I was able to find Bewitched & I Advance Masked on youtube for a quick sample and I really like what I'm hearing. I couldn't seem to find a match for Mother Hold The Candle Steady for some reason. Is it "similar" to either of the other two?
