In addition, these two titles might be worth further investigation as there's something surround-y involved in the recording process:

No Parades - live at SIX 2015
2015

http://noparades.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-six-2015

✞xgxr prince - NightDrives
2014

http://tigerprince.bandcamp.com/album/nightdrives

Do you know of any other Bandcamp 5.1 music titles to add to this list?

Please let me know and I will update accordingly.
The two Janet Feder albums listed here are recommended for both the left turn they take on the female musician/ singer genre. THISCLOSE in particular is a late night, lights out trip in either stereo or surround.

Great recommendation, @Dingo; thanks! NPR story about Feder here. (Bill Frisell and Fred Frith are admirers--'nuff said!)

Thanks for the tip. Checked out most of THISCLOSE and am very impressed. Will be purchasing the MC hybrid SACD soon!

I just received a fabulous DTS CD entitled Aurora by Australian Garry Havillray - a fabulous mix of electronic and ambient textures that I really enjoy. It took a while to get to Canada from Australia but the wait was worth it. For those interested, it can be ordered via Havillray’s bandcamp site at https://havrillay.bandcamp.com/album/aurora

I asked BandCamp if they would support any other audio format than stereo and they told me, not planned, and when members want to release such audio, they put it somewhere people can download from (like Box).

FYI - I've released a new DTS CD today with 11 immersive 5.1 mixes; the 4-track EP 'Walk Me Through This' by Garry Havrillay with 7 bonus 5.1 mixes of tracks previously released only in stereo.

Illphonics – Surrounded (2018)
I've discovered this band via keyword search for "surround" at CD Baby, then bought their DVD-V from ImportCDs (it's no longer available there, but still in stock at CD Baby). And yes, you can also check out their 2.0 discography via Bandcamp.

Actually, the disc comes as a DVD-R, but that's cool. No menu, two sound options: DD and dts 24/48, but almost impossible to tell these apart. Music is fine and so is SQ, this being a 7-song compilation of cuts
from band's three previous releases certainly helps. Surround-wise, it's so-so effort – discrete elements are really sparse, mostly vocals in the rears. There are isolated parts in the center, but they're usually spread over the fronts as well. The mix is front-heavy, but the immersive feeling is present throughout all 29 minutes.

I don't regret buying this, partly due to the fact that there's not much music like this in surround. I'd love to hear more 5.1 stuff from these guys in the future if they (or their mixer Justin Fisher) develop their surround skills further.

Fave tracks: Digital Age, Heights and 96to99 (the pics look more promising than they actually sound)

I can't find a general thread for Bandcamp, so I'm gonna put this post here, even though it doesn't have anything to do with 5.1 content--which, sadly, Bandcamp still hasn't made any easier to deliver & distribute on its platform.

But I still adore Bandcamp, and every independent musician I know does, too. This article published at NPR Music last week reminded me of why I love it (and why I revile Spotify).

Just listened and this is cool, it is on my wishlist for today as it is Bandcamp Friday!

I also found Products Arkiv - Surround Music One which seems to be the bandcamp for 5.1 music.
Hey thanks for litening! glad you enjoyed it. I'm thinking of talking to the surround music one guys because they've got robert rich's 5.1 music, which is probably the most notable ambient in 5.1 aside from async surround by ryuichi sakamoto.

Yes, this is how I found it, by following Robert's bread crumbs... I also have a 5.1 album on Bandcamp, the real 5.1 is on a DVD... but I have recorded a new one, so just need to get it through the mixing/mastering. So for this next one, I'm considering releasing there too...

Ohhhhh that'll be really cool! Looking forward to it!

Bandcamp Fridays (first Friday of each month since the start of the pandemic: Bandcamp waives its already low fees and passes that money on to artists & labels) continue this coming Friday, November 6th.

Good idea to remind people, I usually add albums in my whishlist and then purchase on Bandcamp Friday.
I think there are a few tags to watch:
