Recently picked this one up to complete the BNL surround canon - I gave it an 8. The mix is similar to the Maroon 5.1, meaning that most of the lead instruments are upfront and additional effects/embellishments (horns, finger snaps, backing vocals, etc) pop up in the rears.
The content is the usual quirky fare for BNL. Definitely some clever lyrics and fun arrangements, but as others pointed out above there's just too much here. The first disc seems a lot stronger than the second. My favorite track so far is "The Sound Of Your Voice", with the guitar solos loud and clear in the rears.
I think combining the best tracks from this album and Maroon would yield a truly excellent album, so that's what I'll do for my car disc
