Building up to Atmos! I bought an Emotiva BasX 6 power amplifier - 90W x 6 channels. Surprisingly, it's smaller than my dear old Akai integrated stereo amp.
It's kinda dark, so it took a time exposure. The unit above is my Marantz 7701 Pre-Pro, soon to be replaced with a Marantz 7706, which I just picked up today.
I think I'm going to move a lot of stuff down two inches, because I also added a zektor switch for all the MCH audio I'll be putting into the new Marantz. That's going to be a few days' work. Hmmm, all that planning to use a nonexistent MCH audio to HDMI adapter...
I also ordered a new turntable. I already purchased an AT12S cartridge and a new Shibata stylus for it. I got my Marantz CD-400B functional (still haven't passed signal through it. Old boxes have issues, I'm sure everyone here knows), and of course I have my SM3 that's still not hooked up.
