I've tried to listen to Atmos using the Tidal app on Apple TV 4K with out success. Is it possible?

It should work. Did you enable spatial audio in your Apple TV? Do you have an Atmos enabled AVR?

Works fine for me just ensure you have Atmos enabled sound on ATV which is the same settings as you would use to get Atmos from Netflix, dysney etc.
I had streaming Atmos over Tidal working, back when I was trying it out. With an Apple TV 4K and Denon x6400H.
I'm currently streaming Atmos with Apple Music but thought I'd see if I can hear a difference with Tidal. I looked for a setting in the Apple 4K streamer but only found the one for Apple Music.
It's the same flag for all Atmos apps. Did you check you have the right Tidal subscription?
I'm doing the free trial so that's probably the problem

I’m on the free trial as well and it’s ok, won’t be keeping it though prefer Apple Music easier to use and easier to find Atmos availability
You should have selected the highest option (Tidal HiFi if I recall correctly) to enjoy Atmos
According to their site the basic "individual" tier offers Atmos
You are right, they have changed the subscription plans and now all of them support Atmos. Don't have any other suggestion, sadly
It must be a setting that I'm missing either in the Tidal app or on the Apple TV device. I don't have a problem listening to Atmos on Apple Music
It also depends on your TV it seems. For instance I have an Apple TV 4K going to my Oppo 205. But because the 205 links up to a 2016 Android (3D) TV, it will not send Atmos. For Apple music,I can get it to send (PCM 7.1) surround but that's it--no official Atmos designation.
Sadly for Tidal, it refuses to send anything other than stereo--no matter what I try. When I hook Apple TV/Tidal into my much newer Android TV, I then get the auto / Atmos notation (and on-screen message)--but that's not the one hooked to my home theater system.

I've given up on Tidal and will stick with Apple Music
I've given up on Tidal as well. I decided to try it yesterday to see how good it was in comparison to Apple Music. Also rebooting the Apple TV periodically when the music freezes was starting to get annoying. When I installed the App it said I had ATMOS. Have my Apple TV 4K set for ATMOS and I have no issues with ATMOS with Apple Music, Netflix etc. The interesting thing is that ATMOS works on the main Tidal page with the sample tracks but when you look at any album that should be ATMOS there is no ATMOS flag and it plays back in stereo. I thought maybe the handshake was not working with my Yamaha receiver but if some of the tracks are working I have no explanation. I had Tidal for one day. I will stick with Apple Music as I am very happy with the playback quality now that I have with my new receiver. There is little difference to me between discs and the streaming quality. Discs are getting so expensive that it's not worth the extra outlay for the disc version. However, there is the worry that the ATMOS version will disappear from Apple Music for a favorite. For instance I preordered Elton John Diamonds and now I can't find it on Apple Music in ATMOS. I'm glad I ordered the disc version.
Not only that but Apple Music sounds way better from a quality perspective and the Tidal interface looks like my grandkid put it together.
Stereo files on the Tidal app sound superior to the same songs on Spotify or Apple Music in my experience - it's my go-to in the car through bluetooth, or when travling using headphones. As for Atmos tracks, Apple sounds as good if not better, owing in part to the level difference on the Tidal Apple TV app
