Can I stream Atmos file directly from USB to BD?

As far as i’m aware you cannot pass atmos with a usb stick, but I may be wrong

If your Blu-ray player can play MKV or MKA files, you can rip the desired program to one of those formats and keep the audio in Dolby TrueHD 7.1 with Atmos metadata.

basically what i want to do yes but how? i have a folder full of files and i'm confused, frankly i expected it to be easier

no; not in this case we have:

-a folder that contains files of a copied Atmos blu ray
-a blu ray player capable or playing MKV files and Atmos via USB

Sorry I cant help, the only way I have done it is hdmi from laptop to avr, usb didn’t work
