I'm not on a well here in Floriduh but the water in hard anyway even washing the car requires a wipe down with a spray wax to keep the spots off of it.I would hate to use it on my records.

I still have some too and it works so far. RIP Lou
Well in my part of Floriduh, I do indeed have a well. It was tested and catalogued by the State. (looking mostly for agricultural runoff, but they did a full analysis).
But the water has a lot of calcium. NOT SO GOOD! Over the years it actually turned my black goldfish pond liner white.
When I wash a vehicle, I chamois it down as soon as possible "spread the wealth" as it were.

But, the Florida aquifer is basically riding through limestone, which can be > 30% calcium carbonate I believe.

Well I meant to say the obvious and that I would not use my water to wash any records! lol. I would use distilled were I to wash any.
I only put distilled water in my water cooled pc's and/or additives OR a piece of silver to discourage bacteria growth.
I recently installed a whole house 100 micron filter to stop the "bits and pieces".
