To have a back-up hardcopy of the DVD-A. Also, as someone said above, DVD-A discs, as opposed to DualDiscs, are thinner and might be easier on our players' mechanisms. That doesn't worry me much, but eh, for < $15 for a great album with a great mix, with better packaging (IMO) than the The Brick, I'm in.What would be the purpose of purchasing the DVD-A?
For me, there is also value in having a stand-alone CD for my car.
