David Lynch has died at 78

Director, actor, painter, musician, and overall legendary artist David Lynch has sadly passed away. While not terribly surprising given his recent interviews about his Emphysema and overall health it’s an absolute shock to this die hard Lynch fan.

Yeah I audibly gasped at work when the news popped up on my Instagram feed. I’m a relatively new Lynch fan having only seen most of his films and Twin Peaks within the last 2 years, but in that short time I feel like I have developed a very strong connection to his art, and it was a total shock that he would pass away so suddenly. I believe he was working on a new film as well so who knows what will happen with that but I guess Inland Empire is his final feature film, and it came out all the way back in 2006!!
