Dolby Atmos Coming to Volvo

My 2019 Subaru Legacy is still practically new, but here’s hoping by the time I get a new Subie it will have Atmos

I hope they will improve dramatically their operating system. Now all new Volvos run AAOS (Android Auto for cars, basically) which is pure crap. They hardly have any app on the Android store (Tidal, Amazon Music and Spotify are available, but not Apple Music, ad they all are in very old versions, unstable). The USB ports on the car cannot be used for anything (unless you install yet another unstable non official app). The OS is so bad that you have to reboot it while driving from time to time, and during the reboot you lose navigation, air conditioning, etc.
This is my first hand experience with a the Volvo I've owned for more than one year now...

Spent some time with a ‘24 XC40 with the HK system and it seems they’ve worked out the issues in the Android OS? You do still have to install the audiowagon app from the play store but once you do it plays 5.1ch flacs off a thumb drive.
Front-rear separation is decent enough for such a small space.
Don’t have any streaming services to check Atmos playback.
