I too was underwhelmed by this QUAD mix and can see why it wasn't released back in 1974/5. I am still grateful for this new QUADIO release as I pretty much the bands entire catalog up to "Stone Blue". I lost interest from "Boogie Motel" onwards but would luv to hear an immersive mix for "Fool for the City" and "Foghat Live"...
Incidentally my brother got me "Boogie Motel" for Christmas, the year that it came out. I agree that It was not up to the same standard as "Fool for the City". An immersive mix of "Fool for the City" would be fantastic, if it were to ever come to be!

I gave it an eight , and love the surprise quad panning which took me by surprise .
It's been a long wait to hear another Quadio like this.
That's a well deserved eight for an "UNRELEASED QUAD" now available at long last.
It's too bad this was the only Foghat quad release as "Fool For The City" was also part of the WEA 1975 quad release listings.

And like Steely I perked up with those indicators re mix credits ...ELS/SAM .
And he (Elliot Scheiner) did work at A&R Studios NY , so it's quite natural.
Don't know who SAM is though.

All and all a decent album from a 70's Rock band . I noticed also Lonesome Dave Peverett , with a large number of song credits. He's formerly of Savoy Brown fame, for those here that are not familiar.

Oh what the hell, I'm giving this a NINE !!
