Higher Ground was Johnny Hammond's fourth studio album for Kudu and sole quad release, issued on SQ matrix-encoded LP and quad 8-track in 1974. Higher Ground features contributions from label-mates such as Bob James, Hank Crawford, and George Benson.

Wiki for the album: Higher Ground

Though the album does not contain a quadraphonic remix credit, the extreme 'four-corner' mix style that often leaves one of the rear speakers empty for extended passages matches other CTI/Kudu quad titles credited to Rudy Van Gelder (Deodato's Prelude, Grover Washington Jr.'s Soul Box, George Benson's Body Talk, etc).
