Isn't it Esoteric that reissued some early Tangerine Dream stuff? Now, knowing that SW fondly remembers his growing up on the music of Pink Floyd and TD, it would be soooo great if some 70s TD followed Crimson, ELP, Tull and Hawkwind into 5.1 'space' a la SW...

Both Space Ritual and In Search Of Space were announced for Q8 release by UA but never materialized.

Yeah they have certainly re-released some TD. They don't do much for me so I couldn't tell you which albums. I know Esoteric have found it hard to justify doing many of their excellent re-releases in 5.1 which is a real shame as the stuff they have done so far, like Tony Banks' "It's a Curious Feeling" have been superb and have sold out quickly. I hope Warrior is really successful and convinces them to do more in the format.

I have the EMI 'Collectors Edition' which has an 'upmixed' DVD of the audio, which is best avoided! So it would be great to persuade Esoteric to do a proper 5.1 version. I'd love to hear the first album I ever bought "In Search Of Space" in 5.1, along with "Hall Of The Mountain Grill'.

Does RockSerwis also have a physical shop? A few years ago I was in Krakow, if I knew, I may have tried to visit them.
