I have both and I have to say these are pretty much up there as surround mixes gostuff happening in all teh speakers but not taking anything away from the music.
Universal have gone to the lowest common denomiator though and its Dolby Digital with a screen full of reasonably active graphics. Why teh f*$£ will they not use at least DTS as well to encode the music.

These really do deserve to be heard at a higher quality they are great mixes

Brand New yes 2010 mixes in surround and on CD new 2010 stereo mixes as well demos and original stereo mixes

Brand new, 2010 remixes, but NOT re-recordings. Correct? So does this mean we finally get the original version of Tubular Bells remixed for 5.1? (as opposed to the SACD quad version and the 2003 version on the DVD-A.)

Correct original versions remixed only down side its Dubly Digital and not DTS or LPCM

Neil, can't you talk some sense into them? Do you have contacts with these guys?

I have been re-listening today to Hergest Ridge 5.1. The mix is pretty... brave. It sounds quite different to the original, given the separation and different mix levels for many parts of the music. I quite like it.

Same for Ommadawn, especially Part 2.
