Well were they waiting for you as hoped and expected?

I'm very interested to hear about these quad mixes and well they were preserved.

Are these credited as mastered and authored by Sony, or are they the usual technical outside team?

I sent an e-mail to AF reminding them that I'm a subscriber so I should have these soon.. I am glad they forgot about me last month... 2 less useless stereo SACDs in the house.

These two titles popped up on Amazon the other day, I preordered right away. Maybe they'll consider doing Jeff Becks "Wired" next? Birds of Fire was one of those albums that I originally bought simply because it was Quad. Loved it, had the Q8 first then the SQ. I would consider it to be (sort of) related to Santana "Love Devotion Surrender", another fine Quad mix. I would like to all see the Santanas eventually get released including lesser known titles such as "Borboletta" & "Illuminations". No hits on any of them just great surround sound.

There are plans for Wired (stereo) HERE..so a surround version seems unlikely

You will love them in SACD Multichannel. Both are excellent.

I meant a review, and not just they are great, love em! I meant more on the lines of sound quality, mix positioning, etc. You know a real review! LOL
