Kodi Mini-Topic: Views, Navigating and Selecting Music

How Do I Find My Music?
Kodi sorts the Music Library by different categories called Nodes. Each Node has a visual display associated with it which is called a View. You can select a Node at least a few different ways. First, the Music Window (Window ID 10502) has a partial list of Nodes. Another way is from the Music Submenu on the Main Menu. I think the Artist, Albums, and Songs Nodes are default selections. More Nodes can be added to the Main Menu.

In this thread I’ll show some screenshots of a few standard Node Views that I use to navigate and select music. Each View has a Side Blade Menu which allows for customization of that particular view. (I’ll talk about Custom Nodes in another Mini Topic)

Open Case Mod
Option for the Showcase setting. The cd case/album cover opens. Then the disc/record appears on the right and moves from right to left while spinning. Lands in the case, then the case closes. Pretty cool :LB
