 I just got run, run, runover on the Autobahn then, shouldn't have chased the cardboard :p:LOL:
Hopefully, Dunc, not by Herbie the Love, Love, ❤️ bug!

So looking forward to this, was just thinking the other day, if anything needed an atmos mix, it's autobahn. You read my mind. Love this lp

I was able to get it no problem with Safari. It cost $40 with tracking to the U.S. from SDE.

It’s great that Ralf Hütter mixed this from the multitracks to give us a 21st century mix. Hopefully, we’ll get the other studio titles in this format. I can play an Atmos mix as 7.1 using Dolby True HD on the 15 year old Yamaha amp.

Wished it had the Quad mix on it. It’s still a favorite of mine. Wonder if the Quad tape even exists now.

Huh? So these are new atmos mixes, but the release itself is NOT an exclusive, i.e., you can get it elsewhere just without the slipcase?

Doesn't SDE making non-exclusive titles part of their exclusive series dilute the series? Not sure I like this... unless I'm completely misunderstanding.
I suspect it won’t be a numbered SDE release…..

SDE sell general release Blu Ray Audio discs in their shop (Pink Floyd etc) as well as their own exclusive series discs. This is a general release, but they’ve just added bonus slipcover, it’s not numbered or part of their series 👍

According to some press releases, the slipcover will also be available from their own Kling Klang webstore.

I noticed the SDE page specifically mentions that the 5.1 mix is rendered from the Atmos, which is the first time I've seen such a mention on any of their surround Blu-ray listings (SDE exclusives or otherwise). I hope this is their new protocol going forward -- I'd really appreciate the transparency of knowing the origin of their 5.1 mixes as far as if they're dedicated mixes (which is traditionally the case with Steven Wilson's 5.1s, for example), or if they're just rendered from the Atmos. This would help me make informed buying choices going forward, since I only have a 5.1 setup.
