in a similar vein to the SACD and DTS-CD QQ threads, please show us your DVD-Audio titles of interest!

let's kick off with a mini DVD-A feast for the binoculars, DTS Entertainment released some cool (and some kooky!) DVD-Audio titles..

and partly in cahoots with DTS, Capitol/EMI put out a number of equally cool DVD-Audio releases in the early noughties..

alongside EMI, several labels dipped their toes in the DVD-Audio waters, including Arista, JRecords/Jive, Nuclear Blast & Surrounded By ...

Warners went DVD-A in a big way!

more DVD-A from WEA!

some more (including a few more obscure ones!) DVD-Audio surround titles from WEA..

nobody can deny Warner really went for it with DVD-Audio (for a while...)

...and so the mighty Universal threw their hat into the DVD-A ring!

others joined UMe in backing the DVD-A horse..

after a while, Warners moved into digipak DVD-A's packaged with CDs.. fast forward in time and who'dathunk it, lo and behold we have Sony Legacy doing those ELP 5.1's on DVD-A many years after the death of the format had been proclaimed! spooky huh!

(plus there’s one of WEA’s first DVD-A titles, Firesign Theater.. and a later one-off DVD-A from the group Saxon, which just slipped into the frame as I was snapping the shot!)

various DVD-A titles, sometimes through somewhat leaner times in this surround hobby, 5.1 DVD-Audio was kept alive by other enterprising labels (such as K-Scope) and authoring houses (Neil Wilkes at Opus).
even Koch had a go with Ringo!
..and special mention to friend of QQ, Quadro-Surround!

many more funky DVD-A's to gawp at! almost all of them would've almost certainly been lossy DVD without one of QQ's leading lights Neil Wikes..

(oops! sorry i just realised the Quatermass is a rogue DVD-V in this pic.. still its 5.1, well kind of..

Only a small sample of your 362 disc DVD-A collection. Can’t wait to see your SACDs(really, that would take a ton of work to photograph and post - don’t do it!). Dude, you’re the king of OOP!
