LG Smart TVs first to support Atmos from AppleTV app

If you have a LG Smart TV from 2018 onwards a new Apple TV app gives you Atmos (a first for AppleTV app). It’s free for 3 months, after that it’s by subscription.

I was talking about Apple apps and products with my brother in law a few days ago, who's a fully paid up member of the Apple eco system.

I mentioned that although the AppleTV+ app has been available on my (2016 webOS based) LG televisions for a few years there was no sign of the Apple Music app or even the regular Apple TV app that gives you access to rent/buy movies. I suggested that Apple were really anal when it came to providing access to some of their services on non apple devices... He just laughed it off!

Anyway, it's nice to see that some progress has been made...
