Oh, my sweet Jesus! This is my favo(u)rite jazz vocal album. Absolutely transcendent. I didn't think i could love it any more, but playing it through the Surround Master v.2 has me absolutely weeping, in the best possible way. Bass and guitar are up front, piano and drums behind. Sassy's vocals are brilliant in the phantom center, and she certainly is Sassy as she currently scats her way through "Autumn Leaves." Damn, comrades! DAYUM! I know by the time she gets to "You Are Too Beautiful," i'll be in a puddle of tears of joy! ALL HAIL @chucky3042

PABLO just happens to be one of my very favorite jazz labels and SASSY can DO NO WRONG. Wish some savvy entrepreneur would start releasing the label on single layered SHM~SACD.

AFAIK, only this Joe Pass album [which was definitely on the PABLO label] is the only SACD [and multichannel] ever released in the SACD format. And it's a stunner!
